Quite a bit of it is really great, I think. Really like Fadeaway.

the transition between 'I Would Like' and 'I Want' is truly haunting and amazing.

i just love the way he starts this album. fascinating work.

expect the unexpected.

Wow, digging that studio and the shelving enclosed in stone...want. Looks expensive.

In that photo he reminds me of Clark just a bit.

And so far I've only heard the track 'Peanut Butter & Patience' that is linked from the Mush album page, I need to pick up his other releases, never did so when I was exploring Merck's catalog a few years ago.

like i said ..the opening tracks are really well laid out, they

really catch you of guard. i am very impressed with

this whole album. maybe my second or third

favorite album so far this year.

This seems like a bad rendition of The Landau Orchestra's album from a few years back. (some tracks sound like exact variations practically)

landau is incredible! their first album on merck was called one of the best albums of the decade by many.

similar but different to this though glass. i can hear what you are hearing though ..there are similarities.

Yeah but just the use of instrumentation like Saxaphone etc, is very similar to the Orchestra album's bits. It's all a bit to early 00's downtempo feeling to me though, and feels awkward to have an album like this coming out in 2010. I also just get major white boy vibes that I don't dig.

i think the transitions and the continuity throughout the first three trac's of sgtu is amazing.
