drum synth

I developed a cool style using ultrabeat in logic. I really like how you can modulate a lot of things via velocity mainly stuff with FMing oscillators with samples. I've begun getting more into LIVE, but ultrabeat is a Logic only plugin....lameness. I even went searching through the application folder looking for some file I might be able to modify to make work as a normal AU plugin, but I could find nothing... :(

oes anyone know a good drum synth plugin? I'm tired of using samples. :)

I'm DLing RMV, but my hopes are not too high...

ah ya I know of that one. i actually bought it a while back. :) I just really like the possibility to use samples mixed with FM or what ever.

If you're interested in something very x0x sounding then you could check-out Tattoo by Audio Damage. Another option would be the new Drumaxx from Image Line - it doesn't automate very well in Live because of the way it's organised (I only have Live 7 so it might've changed in v8) but they are doing a really good deal on it.

However, if you have Reaktor you've got plenty options right there. Are you wanting a pure drum synth or a one that has its own sequencer? I can recommend some gems from the User Library at the NI website.

well really just the synth. I was playing a bit with reaktor just now and it seems like it's way possible to make something there. I'd love to take a prebuilt one and take it apart to see how it works though. :) Any recommendations? Also I don't exactly have access to the NI forum user library lol.
