Controlling Monosynth from Logic

I'm using Logic Express to control my x0xb0x and sh101 over a USB-MIDI interface.

It plays notes fine. However, once I put down notes into the matrix editor, each note hangs for about 2 seconds no matter which duration I set for it.

Thus, it only plays every 4th or 5th note as a new note... when I play the notes on the little logic keyboard, it works fine.

Thus, Logic isn't sending a Note Off MIDI command when it should... How can I make it send a discrete Note Off command every time a MIDI note ends? I can fix this temporarily by pressing the MIDI panic button which sends a manual Note Off signal, but after a second it starts again.

MIDI is connected from USB interface to MIDI In Jack....

x0xb0x is controlling sh-101 through CV/Gate in

shit if i knew logic i would help but alas :(

Figured it out:

It's cause the release velocities for all notes were by default set to 0.... the x0xb0x needs a nonzero release velocity to terminate a note
