yeah, sometimes parents can be awesome :) my mom got me into David Bowie stuff, and she appreciates Nine Inch Nails, autechre, Aphex, Boards of Canada, My Bloody Valentine, etc.

unfortunately i've not been able to get her to maybe appreciate David Lynch as much as she fucking should, but each to their own i suppose :p

Yeah some people can't get into Lynch cause he's pretty full-on sometimes. Maybe you should try gettin her into his stuff by playing her some of his music. Judging from that list she'd probably get into Polish Night Music.

As for this thread.. Me n Teapot were hanging with Flying Lotus after his set last year, that dude gets fucking excited about Autechre. He was laughing and saying how incredible they are. Then he said Teapots shirt was too good and he was jealous and he thought he might steal it.
