You could see a lot more than you can in the posted vid, though.

The best thing to happen to me when I was 13 was when I discovered that if I ran the co-ax directly into the ancient TV set in my room, Spice wouldn't actually be scrambled; instead everything was an orange-ish pseudo negative image. And the sound was fine.

But the lock on my door didn't work so well.
