FSUK3 has always had a place in my heart, I've had it for over 10 years now and still doesn't get dull.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

only two stinkers (mira calix and plaid) among a bevy of classics, and all tracks are exclusive. some of those dub\funk\jungle comps rank as highly, but they usually consist of tracks that were grabbed from pre-existing releases. not quite as special.

Luke Vibert's Nuggets 1 and 2 got me into Library Music

Yes, Barry 7's Connector series is also great. Trunk's Studio G release from last year is probably the best library comp I've heard yet:

Forgot a couple more I've been digging (though the second is technically a mix)

delicious. nice to see tropicalia get a mention around here. what a fascinating (albeit short-lived) movement. anyone into experimental pop should dive headfirst into gilberto gil, os mutantes, milton nascimento, milton miranda...

i dont really listen to a lot of compilations (or shuffle/mixes for that matter)... more into listening to albums.

but that one is just... every song on there is great and it flows together really nicely.

oh shit.. somehow i missed that your comp was "after tropicalia." i hate it when my enthusiasm trumps my reading comprehension. i'm the little kid who pumps his fists after happening upon an issue of xxx-men while playing hide & seek at the park.

e: uh, not my most unambiguous phrasing, but i trust that you know what i mean.

For reggae related issues Trojan is the way to go.

Someone here posted the dub box set, which is fantastic.

Although the music on them is not particularly new the Trance Europe Express compilations are excellent.

For punk my recommendation would be Virus 100

백호야~~~항상에 사랑할거예요.나의 아들.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

Yeah, that was me. Between the Trojan and Blood and Fire comps you have a boatload of classic reggae and dub sounds available! B&F's individual artist comps are awesome as well (King Tubby, Scientist, etc.)
