i spent about $200 on 17 kurt vonnegut books

these are all individual editions; paperbacks except for look at the birdie... i wanted a box set but i never could find one

i also considered twilight zone: the complete definitive collection for about $160 but i don't want to spend all my $ now

just since i have uni covered with a grand or so to spare i am going to more concerts and buying things i have wanted

what's been your most expensive recent purchase? do you chronically spend liberally or was it just a special occasion?

the most expensive item i've purchased in the last 10 days is a pack of cigarettes

I'm thinking about getting a Canon EOS 500D, but 600 quid is a bit of a scary amount to part with in one go ....

ironically i had just got done spending about $1000 on a computer system, external hard drive, and usb wireless adapter

i'm all good for tuition and books for the next two years before graduation but if my car gives out i'll be in a "world o' hurt"

Lame, I spent £725 ($1,110) on a new Table Saw (for woodworking) it was worth every penny.

I just spent about $380 on a new cartridge for the turntable... Ortofon 2M Bronze... comes in the mail tomorrow.

$600 (Cdn) on an M-Audio Project Mix. Next big purchase will be an analog drum machine, as soon as I get some internet money (hopefully next week).

I spent $360 on my last truck, bought a $1800 96' Volkswagen Jetta Trek with 105k on it, not really the most aesthetically relevant car for me but its in great condition.

i got these pants. they're useful for carrying a lot of shit around at once but they don't feel as durable as my carhartts. i wear my clothes to death and that happens a lot faster than i would like these days.

I just spent about $90 on lighting for my bike. Probably going to spend another $90 next week, too. I like lights.

i spent about 250$ on a turntable, amp and speakers, which is pretty cheap but still, 250 bones.

I'm going to buy a Mac Pro, which at it's cheapest will run me $2800 bare minimum, and that's without non-Apple Care insurance. That's why I've been posting via iPod for the last several weeks.

just a basic starter kit, a pacific or something or other. been drumming on a practice pad for a few months, figured it was time to get the kit. i have a drumming room right next to my office, i'll post pics when i get it set up!

pacific kits ain't bad starters, if you get good heads, learn how to properly mute your drums and tune them like a mad scientist you can definitely make a decent super cheap kit sound purty tasty

Oversteps vinyl....-pretty steep if you ask me.
