Guest Blanket Fort Collapse
...? Isn't Record made so you can basically just multitrack with most of reasons devices(or all) it made it seem like it was a lite version of Reason inside Record. Why would you need or want to use Record for mixing and mastering multiple reason tracks? I would rather do the exact opposite and sometimes do put DAW recordings into reason for mixing/near mastering. Record doesn't have VST so I'm pretty content with using Cubase Sx3 and syncing Reason via Rewire. So I can still use all my VST's and cubase does a lot of other things im pretty sure record doesn't Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/54421-propellerheads-record/#findComment-1272544 Share on other sites
Alzado
you can open Reason song files in Record and continue to work on them in Record. If you have Reason installed, Record will incorporate all of Reason's devices into its installation. So, it's Reason + the ability to record audio and sequence audio files. You would want to mix/master in Record rather than Reason because Record's mixer is vastly superior (see below). You can also simultaneously export all individual tracks to .wav for opening in another preferred DAW. Guest Blanket Fort Collapse
I've definitely always loved the way records mixer looks that for sure. Only time I personally would want to use it is to see if I really liked using it for a rare occasion these days were I want to use propellerheads unit's for mixing not really for the mixer or convenience. Cubase Rewired with Reason really is pretty satisfying and I cant imagine not having to use cubase for VSTs but.... When Record finally gets cracked or I mean when I save some money to buy it legally... you guys let me know Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/54421-propellerheads-record/#findComment-1273775 Share on other sites
