My cat smells like gasoline

Recommended Posts

Guest Fishtank

so my cat came in and smelled strongly of gas

I'm not sure if someone was trying to burn him or if he rolled around in it or something like that

he wasn't wet with the stuff so it wasn't obvious where the smell was coming from

so I gave him a bath by rubbing a damp cloth on him and used regular people shampoo

his coat is nice and shiny now and he smells ok but srsly wtf

this sounds like an airplane landing on a minefield

Probably just having a kip under a car. Cats like warm underside of car ...

.was it a car or a cat i saw.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

One of my cats often smells like fireplace when he returns, or some kind of extra smoky barbecue sauce... where is he going

yeah petrol evaporates REALLY fast so even if someone did put petrol on him it probably woulda dried super quick

really hope that wasn't the case though. cats are awesome :(

Heh, my old cat would do the same. At first I thought he was hanging out by some wood bonfire, since it was winter in Northern MA, but he'd be able to pick up that aroma in the summer months, too. I wanted to follow him, but I never did. He smelled delicious.

My god, after reading some of the posts in here, I don't see why someone would have their cats be outdoors cats. AAGH. I'd rather be stuck inside than smelling of petrol/smoke or be attacked by Terriers.
