Warp including free MP3s with CD or vinyl purchases

Just got this on FB. So you buy directly from bleep you get digital copies free. Nice if you buy vinyl and don't want to rip.

I think Warp20 was the first time they tried it, unless there were other promotions but makes good business sense. Make your music available in the highest quality, for the mp3 format at least.

I got the email this morning titled "special announcement from Warp" and prayed for some Plaid news.

Still cool though. Mostly for vinyl buyers. If I buy a CD that's already out (meaning not a pre-order) I'm just gonna wait till I get it to play it. But it'll save me having to rip it.

I think people were doing this anyway (Buying the vinyl, getting the mp3s off slsk). So I guess its nice that they're doing it themselves.

Good call. Should be standard procedure for any sellers IMO.

more incentive for physical buying because you get clean access to the music earlier usually (for example because I pre ordered the Oversteps vinyl Bleep let me download it a month early)
