flac on itunes

Hey, I want to know if there is a way to listen to Flac files in iTunes? I have a mac if that helps.

I tried to install it but I couldnt get it working so i gave up and got foobar.

i managed to figure it out using Fluke - but my ipod cant play Flac.. FUCK.. gotta go with mp3 then

you can play flac in foobar, and then sync those songs onto your ipod i think. i read this somewhere on the internet. foobar converts the files before syncing them over or something.

you can convert your files to wav or alac. Not as good as flac, but whatever.

can ipods play wavs though? mine can't. 80gb black classic

You can get homebrew software that you can put on your ipod. Rockbox is what I have I think. It plays ogg and flac maybe?

As for coverting. Itunes can covert songs to mp3 format. You can change it in the settings.

I convert everything to Apple Lossless using Max and then drop into iTunes. Other ways are just a hassle

You can get some freeware programs to do it. I forgot. I have one and it allows me to put flacs into itunes. Works fine. Google how to play flacs in itunes mac or something.
