Organs

I love the sound of old hammond organs, and I hope some day to own a few, but the truth is that right now I don't know jack about them.

there's usually an expert of this or that round these parts, so help me please. I want to know the difference in tone between various well know organs. specifically, what organ would give you I nice rich tone, especially in the low end, without the cheesy teduned highs? As in, what kind of organ would give you a nice warm dark tone, for playing gothic chords?

and tell me anything else you know, just for education's sake.
