Quinoline Yellow has redone his website and put up a new album and goody back. It's not too exciting though the Tatamax release is pretty droney/ambient. It's ok stuff but I feel like his rhythmic work is his most innovative. Amazing packing and website though, and I hope this means even more new work in the near future!

That's what I always thought, but the site makes it sound like Luke is the only guy behind Tatamax. I always thought it was him and someone else, but that was according to a Skam write-up and those who witnessed Tatamax at the Autechre ATP.

i've always preferred quinoline yellow... but tatamax has that one side on one of the smak 12"s thats really righteous. though to me, that sounds more like its just quinoline yellow, so whatever... some tatamax can be hard to get through. lots of unexpected blasts of noise and stuff. it's still really cool, you just have to be in the mood for it. dol goy assist is such a classic, and those two other QY EPs that came out on uchelfa are awesome. id love to hear a new full length QY!

I spent many hours listening to most of the Quinoline material. Really good for rainy and breezey days indoors. (for me at least) A lot of his stuff just gets better with multiple listens.

I'd love to see a triple 3" CD album or maybe just a double.

this is awesome minimal ambient. right up my alley. it reminds me of the magnificent void by steve roach.
