someone explain this "fidget" stuff to me?

see it made fun of, got no idea what kinda music this is considered. sounds funny by the descriptions ive heard though.

It's a pretty hard-to-define style of music IMO. But as far as I know it goes something like this

Its basically just a movement in electro-house that came up in early/mid 2009 and got boring and dull really really quickly

What makes it fidget? Just sounds like your average party electro to me. First I've even heard the term.

there needs to be an anti genre name movement pretty soon with the internet accelerating things so fast genres crop up in 2 months and then are dead in the 3rd month

I always thought of Fidget as anything that producer Switch lays his fingers on. That said, I'm suprised there isn't a Timbaland or Neptunes genre.

My friend left a few copies of mixmag or something like that in the crapper and I read all about Switch and Hervé like they were geniuses so I looked them up and they are puddles of piss
