Redruth
Architeq - Mind Games ft. Ilja Rudman Quote Tirk Records offer one of the highlights from Architeq's 'Gold + Green' album backed with modern disco refits from Samoyed and Emperor Machine. On 'Mind Games' Architeq links with Ilija Rudiman for a implosive electro-boogie bomb, compressing the funk into a tight ball of energy with brilliantly discordant keys and rhythms twisted with a powerfully restrained torque. In comparison Samoyed's crafty triplet-timed version dilutes the funk into a a more fluid form and Emperor Machine lays it out on an extended slow-disco trawl Architeq Tirk Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/54702-architeq-mind-games-ft-ilja-rudman/ Share on other sites
sidewinder
12" eh? Thanks for the Tirk link...I'd been looking for the cheapest place to purchase Gold + Green on CD and there it is. $14.43 USD shipped, it's about $3 cheaper than the other places I've seen it. Order placed! Capsaicin
I really didn't like the vocal tracks on this album as much as the instrumentals Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/54702-architeq-mind-games-ft-ilja-rudman/#findComment-1280023 Share on other sites

sidewinder
I like 'Spinning Plates' a lot. I usually prefer instrumentals too. The first time I played it I was disappointed that there were vocals but they've settled right in for me.
