Found out about this band recently mainly because of their album "Boxer" which everyone seems to love. I quite like that album as well.

Bloodbuzz Ohio sounds pretty good.

Yeah, but it's not as good as Runaway (which was played on Qtv or something then got uploaded to youtube)

I'm looking forward to this. Boxer's a strong album, but there's room for improvement, and I think they'll kick it into high gear on this one. The vocalist mentioned he was focusing a lot more on the melodic content of his vocals, which is where Boxer fell a bit flat for me. He's a great lyricist but it sounds like he didn't put nearly as much thought into the melodies as he did the lyrics. If the melodies were up to the same standard as the lyrics it would be a favorite album of mine.

Liking it a lot. Good on the first listen, definitely growing and even better on the second.

I think Conversation 16 might be my favorite.

Sometimes I just wish they would put the pedal to the floor. I had another listen the other day to this and it seemed to drone on a bit, perhaps it was just my mood...

The first song I ever heard of theirs was Abel, with him screaming "MY MINDS NOT RIGHT!" over and over. I sort of just hopped on down to my record shop and bought the album without hesitation. Alligator, in my mind seemed to suffer the same thing, me wishing they would step out of the melancohly shadow every now and again and let rip. Just to break it up abit.
