Clocks Go Forward

Don’t forget to set your clocks forward by one hour on Sunday 28th March 2010, officially the start of British Summer Time. We may be losing an hour but with extra daylight in the evenings and a long summer ahead, there’s plenty to look forward to after the clocks change.

feautures:

- Extra hour of daylight

- Fun in the sun

- Open air theatre

- Live music tickets

- Festivals in London

- Outdoor entertainment

Make the most of long evenings this summer with live, outdoor entertainment in London.

Remember, the clocks go forward by one hour on Sunday 28th March 2010. The change officially takes place at 01.00 Greenwich Mean Time, so set your clocks forward before going out on Saturday night to avoid getting up late in the morning.

absolutely fucking ridiculous.

like trying to make a piece of string longer by cutting a piece off of one end and tying it to the other.

humans meddling with our internal clocks and reality as we know it without our fucking consent! as far as i understand it 'savings-time' as they call it is all based around money's.

what seems like a small change every year actually has more negative effects then we would think.

^ correct, it's complete bullshit.

i do not approve of daylight money savings, nor a thread in celebration of it.

Just found out about the english name today, and I definetly prefer the english description "daylight- saving- time" to the german Sommer-/Winterzeit (summer-/wintertime).

isn't the spring clock shift actually the "normal time"? i always thought the winter time was the fucked up one, getting less sunlight, etc...

so, i don't really mind that one hour of night less in the spring, it really means one hour of sunlight more. YAY!!!

oh, and i'm seeing autechre tonight, and when we get together it will be still day - isn't that totally awesome? spring FTW!!!
