pretty cool. reminds me of this....

"The first in a ongoing series begun in 1997, this photograph is the result of digitally averaging every Playboy centerfold foldout for the 10 years beginning Jan. 1988 through Dec. 1997. The shroud-like image is yielded by a simple, custom process: point-by-point mathematical averaging. No special "morphing" is used."

very cool. i still get a completely sexual vibe from it. they should make an issue of 'ambient pornography'.

i dont get how that is cool, it's an orangey pink mist created by thousands of images of fake-titted, dumb-brained women.

What does that mean exactly. they just overlapped each picture over another?

each pixel has a byte-sized (0-255) number for red, green and blue.

so for example the pixel in the upperleft corner of Miss Jan. 1988 reads:

123 087 076

and the same pixel for Miss Feb. 1988 reads:

082 233 123

and March:

092 123 134

you add them together and devide by the number of layers to get the average, and repeat that with every pixel.

(123+082+092)/3 (087+233+123)/3 (076+123+134)/3

It would be kool if they fused all the chicks into one image to make one super hot porn star. Like the way the made Gordon Freeman's Face from Half Life a fusion of 5 guys.
