do you think real hard about what you want to say or do you just let it all hang out?

i have two modes:

1. long, compulsively composed blocks of text that aim to make specific points, but get rambly due to my inability to let details slide

when I come on these forums, I tend to write whatever the fuck I am thinking - which tends to be garbage.. I leave the "impressive" writing to my goddamn essays

i usually like to type up a draft in word and let it sit for a few days while i make a few revisions and whatnot. if i'm still happy with it after that, i'll post it.
