LOL?

You'd think a thread titled "how beautiful is the artwork to drone albums?" would have some examples of said artwork.

You'd think that, but you'd be wrong.

yes, that's 90% of how people choose what drone they listen to. No joke.

I actually agree on this statement.

Well, those are pretty sweet covers!

I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.

I was thinking more about the more recent Cassette tape scene.

Where it's all about the handcrafted limited edition cassette worship shit going around. People just see a picture of the "beautiful cassette" see it's 7$ and buy it.

i don't see what's wrong with that, really. someone likes the idea so they buy it, and the person who made it makes some money, isn't everyone a winner in this situation?

started looming through boomlet recently, trying to find things of interest... didn't take me long to discover that in all the time I'd been

out of he loop, a whole genre or two

seemed to be made out of :

- mournful landscape photography.

- drifting emptiness

- clicking, hissing, popping vinyl sounds.

wait, gas and biosphere are drone?

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

I guess Biosphere isn't necessarily drone, but he hasn't been strictly ambient since Substrata either. I do think Gas definitely qualifies as drone though.
