Red Dead Redemption

I was slightly skeptical about Red Dead Redemption , but after watching this vid...I will most definitely be purchasing it .

I wish they would add a character maker . I don't know why so many games lack the little feature .

We've got some great gaming months ahead of us. Splinter Cell: Conviction is out in a couple of days, then there's Alan Wake and a week later Red Dead Redemption gets released.

Damn, ya this looks pretty sweet. Just saw it's XBox/PS3 only... I have neither

yeah if they had it on PC i'd consider playing it.

I don't think thats when it comes out, I preordered last week and they said it would be out next Tuesday.

I think the US release date for Red Dead is 5 / 18 / 10 .

And yes , This month and May will have some pretty sick releases :

Splinter Cell : Conviction

Super Street Fighter IV

Dead To Rights: Retribution

Nier

Skate 3 is out 5/18/2010 as well... I'll be picking both that and Red Dead up

I'd get this but most of my friends are getting it for 360. Anyone here planning on getting it for PS3? It may persuade me to purchase so we can form a posse.

I picked this up but I have to study tonight, might play for an hour or so before sleep time. (famous last words)

this is pretty damn amazing... messed horsed around for about an hour and a half... it's good fun!

apparently the ps3 version is inferior in terms of graphics and framerate and also its only 540p or something like that

I noticed some slight frame drops on the box... but nothin too bad.

Alan Wake or Red Dead?

I was waiting 'til pay-day this Tuesday to buy Alan Wake, but I hadn't realised that RDR was so awesome until this week.

I might get both, but I'm reluctant because I'll probably neglect one and feel like I wasted my money. I know the answer is RDR>AlanWake.
