you could of honked someone's tits when they were on camera. that would have made the trip worth it.

me and my gf went because her parents bought us tickets so we sort of had to, we couldn't be fucked really, but didn't want to be rude and not show up (they were also going). so we trekked off to birmingham, got to the NEC about 1pm had a look about and had seen everything by 1.30pm. the Roland stand was laughable - they didn't have any keyboards of any sort. all they had were three electronic drum kits. there were a lot of stands selling gardening implements and power tools and car seats - to be honest, they were mostly the same stands that they have had at any exhibition I've ever been to at the NEC. i saw very little gadget show branding or evidence of it being anything to do with the gadget show. i didn't get any free stuff.

anyway, we wandered around in a bored fashion for 3 hours and pissed off at half four. now back home after driving at breakneck speed down the M40 to London. seriously, i reckon my average speed was 100mph. in my girlfriend's little micra 16v.... thrashed the fuck out of it lol.
