title and art aside, its really good so far. definitely a few immediate stand outs and im not even through the whole record.

yeah, i'm listening now and so far this is up there with their best stuff. very impressed.

broken social scene have always struck me in the same way as the polyphonic spree - even if they sell a million records, each of them will only get like 50 bucks...

I haven't liked the art for any of their albums, luckily the music usually makes up for it.

how good is that "meet me in the basement" instrumental ??

I can imagine them jamming the fuck out of that track during live performances.

actually they're all good, apart from highway slipper jam, which just sounds like they're doing a shitty cover of star by primal scream.

I loved their last album , so...I'm very excited for this new album .

the only thing i didnt really care for was art house director. but, yea, this is really nice. cant wait to really sink my teeth into this.

this is fantastic. well worth the wait.

I haven't listened to them, always been so extremely put off by the name.
