God of War games

for one reason or another, I ignored the God of War series of games on the PS2. I heard they were universally considered great, and I love action/platformers, but I just never checked them out. what a mistake.

i recently downloaded the GOW3 demo and was fucking floored. I just picked up the God of War Collection for PS3 and haven't been this enthralled by a game in a long time.

The graphics are amazing. The combat is awesome. And the storyline (of GOW 1) is fantastic, the best I've ever encountered in a game.

As a rule, I don't use emoticons. but if i did, I would facepalm myself for not getting into these sooner (although I'm glad I waited for the collection because the graphics were updated to take advantage of the PS3).

I'll be getting GOW3 after I finish the second game. How do you guys rate it?

Yeah, I was amazed at God of War when I first got it. The entire series is just amazing.

Personally, it's all about God of War 1 & 2. GOWIII is very good & amazing, but in my personal opinion, isn't as good as 1 & 2. Truly an amazing game series. Personally, God of War II is one of the best games I ever played. I'm Jello, I wish I had the GOW-Collection for PS3. I just have the Orginal PS2 GOWI & GOWII

Yeah man, everybody says that because nostalgia is always a factor, and i have to admit, no game has ever succeeded in ever impressing me as much as GoW1 did. However, having played the GoW Collection again back-to-back with GoW3 i have to say... it's not even in the same league. GoW 1 and 2 were incredible games... GoW3 is, beyond that, truly a feast for the senses (and i go as far as saying) that no epic blockbuster cinema has even come close to equaling.

GOW 1 (the one one I've played) is ridiculous in the best way possible

God of War III is definitely my favorite game of this console generation so far. The design, pacing, music, etc. hit it just right for me. I really can't say enough good things about it. Just make sure you start your first game on Titan mode. Normal is a bit too easy.

Oh yeah, I bloody love the God Of War series. It's just too bad that GoW Collection keeps freezing on me. (a problem only on launch day PS3s)

I've already played 1 & 2 for PS2 when they first came out and was just blown away.

Can't wait to play GoW3. I've already purchased it, and it's staring me in the face constantly.

GOW3 is fucking awesome & in my view the best one.

God of War Series is the second best Video Game Series of all time (Fifa wins , but EA , fix the fucking manager mode bug!!!)

I (was) exactly in the same boat - I'm powering my way through GoW II right now, promising myself not to get GoW III until I finish both games (GoW I I completed (although not 100% tropies yet) a few weeks ago).

Seriously, these games are so good.

It's amazing to me how enormous they are. The worlds are massive. I wonder how many virtual miles Kratos covers on his mission to find the sisters of fate alone?

And it's a beautifully made game. The graphics of the Steeds of Time are so epic. The Titans are amazing. The whole thing is just killer.

i bought the GOW collection, it reminds me what ive played so far of Devil May Cry, and thats a damn good thing

but i stopped playing because i kept dying trying to get a fucking treasure box on the FIRST LEVEL ARRGGHHH
