although i obviously have no concrete evidence used to make my guess, i seriously doubt we'll see anything this year. i also would not be particularly interested in any SEB releases, as SEB1 is kind of a snore. a collection of nice elements/moments drowned out by long periods of fairly banal bass playing.

that being said, i pray for something along the lines of Venus No. 17 or Ultravisitor. doubtful but here's to hope...

I shouldn't see why Mr Pusher wouldn't release a new album this year, but as with a few other Warp artists its best not to even think about it. Lifes to short!

exactly. i won't lose any sleep over it. considering that even his 'simplest' stuff (of the likes in burningn'n tree) is no doubt dated, i've listened to it way too many times to count, yet it remains fresh and none the less masterful than some of his more recent releases. that's why i'm not complaining about having something new, but i would certainly appreciate anything he wants to throw my way

Well considering Warp seems to like spacing out new releases by its well-known artists (I'm assuming Plaid is getting held back for this reason, giving the Autechre and Flying Lotus releases some space), it's doubtful there's room in this year's calendar. Especially IF we're supposed to get releases from Aphex and BOC, too!

But man would it be awesome to have new stuff from Autechre, Flying Lotus, Plaid, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, and Squarepusher all in one year.
