I made a version of pong

Using MAX/MSP/Jitter, a webcam, a projector, and some placemats from my living room, I can play pong without a controller. It's a really simple concept, with very large implications.

It's actually a lot of fun. We're going to have this setup at our techno shows. I know this isn't 100% new technology, but I'm just really surprised at how simple it is to get working well. I'm trying to find more stuff like this, so thanks for posting that link phling, it is going to be really helpful...

if i were you, i'd look into more good programming environments than Max if you're serious about programming.

in the end you'll be happier learning one of these imo, as they're both "real" languages and extendable into C++/Java respectively.
