Lisbon Acid

I want to ask you something ? , what do you feel when you listen to Lisbon Acid (Specially the beginning).

This song (to me) feels like a "THIS IS MY LAST DAY ON EARTH" , like somebody is going to kill themselves and this is their suicide note saying good bye to their loved ones. I don't know why i feel that way ,

I was wonder if anyone else feel the same.

more like a bright sunny day and being busy on something recreational (driving around in car / boat, exploring)

the funny thing is I was in lisbon shortly after the time the track was released so I have a direct association between the town and the track as I was constantly listening to the track during the time I was there

I have spent a fair bit of time getting my ears around the Analords though Lisbon Acid isn't one I have invested a lot of time in.

I would say though a lot of Analords give me the sense of foreboding. A few of the tracks make me feel like I am sat looking out to sea at dusk, and a big wind is blowing into my face and on the heels of the wind comes a large storm. I see a lot of big, heavy, dark purple clouds forming out at sea. A huge maelstrom heading straight towards me.

This might sound like a load of hocus-pocus claptrap LoL. But yes I would agree that some Analords have a dark theme riding on them. Its down to the individual themselves how they unravel them.

Dylan might be the worlds best songwriter. But Aphex makes music that lets your imagination write your own song, and how brilliant is that?

I have the same pictures in my head with most analords: darkness, ocean and mystic like some energy that is floating through your body

also xmd5a is best when you listen to it while walking pissed in cold rain

Lisbon Acid is an amazing track.

A very beautiful & emotional sounding track.

Makes me sometimes think about life & memories of the past.

I love the beautiful strings in this one and the overall chaos. Listened to this one a lot while I was in Croatia.

All the analord series are like machines talking imo, brilliant.

analords seem like a man spending more time than is healthy locked up with a room full of humming machinery. some days are good and some aren't; that's how things go. track mood varies with the composer's

The track is from Analord 7. There are a lot more analords. Try them.

If you go to www.rephlex.com you can listen to all the analords for free, so you can decide where best to spend your money. It's slightly overwhemlming as there's a lot to digest, repeated listening is required.

lisbon acid seems like one of the tracks that took the most work to me
