Dissection

So i recently got a PM from a member reccomending to me Dissection's Storm of the Lights Bane. I feel that i need to post about how fundamentally awesome this album is, start to finish. Not enough metal chat here, but if you like metal, in particular black and death metal, then get your fucking hands on this album. Fucking perfection.

oh and i should mention that though i really appreciated the reccomendation, i had been enjoying the album before i received his note.

it's melodic enough for me to dig it some... do they have faster songs?

it's all pretty fast, but yes. they only have 2 or 3 albums i think, but they are all gold. this one is just the best.

i just wikied them and they had like 10 years between their second and third albums

isn't that funny. i went through a short black metal phase where I downloaded that album by picking it at random through a wikipedia search of blackmetal alumbs.

and yes, I think it is a fantastic metal album.

please listen to more black metal.

Saw them live in 94 around the time of the debut, that was pretty awesome.

yeah, I remember "Storm of the Light's Bane" too... great stuff, still I haven´t heard other stuff yet, should find it in shops around here somewhere
