Dayvan Cowboy (Odd Nosdam Remix)

Am I missing something here? This track seems so aimless. It's almost annoying how it fades in and out with half-baked ideas. That said, there's plenty of great songs and albums I've hated at first listen in the same way, only to end up loving them, so I keep expecting this track to click. Is it really as crappy as I suspect?

Waka-waka... no, I'm looking for somebody who loves/likes the track to give me a different perspective, because mine is, it's crap.

Would posting "I think the Odd Nosdam remix of 'Dayvan Cowboy' is crap. Discuss!" have been less muppet like post, and thus more successful way of starting a conversation?

I like Odd Nosdam, and Boards of Canada, and the song sounds like both, so I like it.

The 4 echoing notes at 3:30 are distinctly Dayvan Cowboy. I like how that bit was treated.

I like it Odd Nosdam shifted it into a different entity... I see it as more of a soundscape than a song as it was originally, it builds slowly and kinda fades in and out before coming in fully. If you listen through the begining build it pays off
