I just read this on craigslist

"Anybody remember the ad earlier today about the $40 Korg Poly61? I was the lucky guy who got there first and bought it - yay! lucky day!

I'm also the guy (from here on to be referred to as an idiot) who dropped the keyboard when he tried to open the door to his home.

The top 8 keys popped off and broke, the corners are a little bashed (it's just made of particle board) and the mod stick was a little damaged but I think I fixed it ok.

The contacts are dirty (I believe it came that way) and don't always trigger.

And, the biggest problem - I opened it up and have determined that one of the oscillators is shot.

I feel terrible about dropping this thing - come give me $20 for it and take it away before I do something else to it, or myself."

Poor schmuck.

Just think about how high his spirits must have been before falling so low. A poly61 for $40? Then he breaks it? What a tragic hero.

I would totally give him 20$ for it if I didn't have to pay for shipping etc.

half a poly-61 for 20? (other half probably fixable) sure why not? (as long as the midi works)

yeah, I think he's cashing it in early on this one. Even if it costs a bit to get it fixed by a pro he's still coming out ahead.
