The Israeli government is committed to extreme interpretation of the old testament, whereby they think it clearly states that ipads are inadmissible by God.

However, they've found a loophole. They can use ipads just as long as they only use them in a different room as all other electronics, and if they pay a certain voluntary tax to apple whereby they technically own the company even though it grants them no legal powers.
