I don't think those tracks get enough respect.

it's great. i love the rawness of it. it's richard din syncing a few boxes, hitting play and having fun with it.

the 707 drum sequence in Trojan.KillAV.E is the same as in the acid classic 'land of confusion' by armando. a homage to that track i suppose.

yes yes yes.

fucking love analord 09. crazy, maniacal, energy spewing group of tracks. fuck the haterz who hate on the repetitiveness of the sampling, it's raw and doesn't hold anything back. never fails to get me in the right mood. :aphexsign:

if all my aphex collection went up in flames, as long as i could salvage my analord 09, i'd be happy. this record is everything richard is as an artist to me: RAW ENERGY. and the feeling of the record is really distinctive... i don't know, i just really like it. i could throw this record on any turntable, anywhere, and the effect will never be any less attention-grabbing.

W32.Aphex@mm also has the same beat as 'hip house' by fast eddie. I love Analord 9, the underlying nostalgia is immense.

  • 2 weeks later...

yeah liptons B Acid is perhaps the most sinister analord track. there's so many acid lines goin on at one point, like a one big delicious orgy of analogness.
