I am terrified of grasshoppers

I was cleaning my apartment a week ago in preparation for moving out, when I discovered this big fucker. However, it foolishly decided to hide out on the corner of my window, which I promptly closed, encasing it between two sheets of glass.

I'm scared of most bugs

it's the sudden jumping that freaks me out the most. There was a locust plague infestation/swarm in my state a week ago... made me realise that would be the most terrifying thing ever

There was this spider in my bathtub the other day, when I was trying to take a shower... it was like the size of my hand. revolting.... so I just turned on the shower and watched it have fun! It was so big it wouldn't fit down the drain, so I poked it down with a stick.

but they are so friendly

Every time you walk on grass you stomp on some of them. There's a great chance they would take revenge on you if they could.

I love locust. They're like the Marine version of a Grasshopper, they parachute into fields that need sorting out, and sort them out.

That picture of a red/black grasshopper looks like Dell made it from an Alienware laptop.
