New tune guys/girls

So been working on this tune - well hangin on to it for a month or so. Anyways in the end I got tired of hearing it over and over again and I've decided to post it. I think its probaly the best thing I've done but I'm bored of hearing it for the zillioneth time. It probably ain't most peeps cup of tea but anyways views appreciated as usual. the "not my tea cup parts" were that small bit deep man vocal and the regular piano diddy that was random ly placed...

The Bro - Studio 28

this is fucking great! it's so nice to hear an unpretentious, humorous funk track. made me grin like a twat from the offsette.

possible ideas - effect the first guitar solo line, currently it stands out in the mix a little too much. your stuff is very 'midi', in general - i kind of like that retro focus - so maybe that's against your rules? maybe also a deeper sub bassline to follow the slappy thing (before the percussive bass bit comes in).

Made me grin like a twat from the offset too!! Absolute FILTH - I LOVE IT PROMO!!! I love the electric piano chords that come in a little later - surprising and subtle- not what would be expected. This is really good.

This is a totally wicked track, it's upbeat and has that magic 'feel good factor'....this made me get up and dance. Just got me groovin'....

My only minor critisism is the ending....those last three repeated notes don't work....perhaps you can just fade off the track instead.....otherwise this is a super track!

You certainly get the retro sound to a T.

I'm not really sure I can critique it. It's not really something I'm into...

New Promo.....cool.....this has an 80s sound to it....I really like your stuff Promo, because it's like nothing else on here and it conjures up imagery from years past. Nice work.....I quite like the piano btw....

Oooh, this is something else for EKT... my favourite bits are the epiano chords and funky bass for sure, two sounds I'll never tire of. Not too found of that main guitar riff sound, but overall a very interesting funky track for sure

i was gonna say the 80s thing too. it's not classically 80s, more so in composition than in sound. especially dig the funkier bass that comes in 'round half way through. and those simmons-esque toms are pretty class indeed. =)

this is a refreshing change in terms of style. it's more electronic music than electronic music itself, man!

and as far as my cup of tea, well i drink my tea from a squeeze bottle anyways.

tasty string/synths, stabs, and toms.....i agree the guitar doesn't sit as well as the rest of the instruments.....cool track....the vibe is awesome; a mix of hilarious n funky.....
