the vid came from an old chinese series called "Journey To The West"

which contains a monkey with 72 transformations? maybe it's related somehow?

Monkey With 72 Magic is a film as well. I think that these two where made at very similar times. Monkey with 72 transformations is an ancient Chinese god. The Monkey King. Monkey with 72 magic is about the monkey god as a mischievous youngster.

BTW. I like the song for the video.

Even without the video, this song makes me think of under water + Japan. I quite like it.
