Community based, loop swapping, track sharing, urban feild recording project

hi people. please check this out and get involved. something i am doing for uni. basically i went out and recorded a load of samples of the urban space, made a few loops and uploading them for people to take and make tracks out of then upload. am uploading content all the time so please follow me on soundcloud and get involved.

 

fans of found sound, avant garde, musique concrete, microsound, actually anything involved in music production will enjoy this concept.

some purty cool sounds, some of it definitely sounds worthy of cutting up and makin a track with. how was this recorded? brec4-010 has a fucking wicked amount of bass for something on a field recording? was this eq'ed and compressed much?

not sure. soundcloud is new to me but the way it works best serves a project like this.

 

am gonna upload more sounds throughout the next week, aswell as loops. the idea is people just upload things they make with the sounds, even of they are not finished, so people can download them and make them into more things.

great stuff. if you have a soundcloud account please remember to follow to we can update you when new content is added. samples and loops aswell as peoples tracks are being added all the time.
