Could you recommend any CoH for beginners? I love Soisong, definitely want to hear more of Ivan.

Truth be told most of the bands/artists I listen to were the result of hearing them somewhere by chance, having them suggested by another person, or seeing it posted on a production forum. I have a list of groups I've been meaning to check out because *insert musician I listen to here* mentions them as an influence, but I never get around to it.

id go with 'strings'. probably the easiest to get into out of all the releases ive heard by him. and if you like that one, go 'patherns', 'above air', and 'coh plays cosey'. his ep collab with coil called 'love uncut' is pretty good too.

The top one starts when I was 7, the last one is when I was 15. I skipped over some stuff (like Sum 41) because I forgot where they go and if I kept going there'd be well over 700 pictures after I hit Autechre. The only thing on that list I no longer listen to is Sum 41 and SOAD.
