I was in a thread on another forum and it was something like 'describe a band with a short story' I guess because they described massive attack as 'a man is trapped in a dark room surrounded by four walls and no way out and trying to break through with a sledgehammer while yelling at the top of his lungs. Meanwhile a couple blocks away, a man is getting beat up in a parking garage'

they probably had Mezzanine/100th Window in mind

I remember hating blue lines when I got it because I thought it was going to be more of an instrumental hip-hop album. eventually I came back to it after about a year and realised how good it is. I'd say daydreaming is my favourite track of it, mainly because of tricky.

you're right on... five man army is my favorite because of daddy g

Is Blue Lines the only good one, because Protection is the only good song on that record and Teardrop is the only good song on Mezzanine? that always killed me about Massive Attack records. only one good track and one other sorta ok track. don't have Blue Lines though, have the feeling that's more of a full album experience.

i rather disagree with your view; teardrop is the lamest song on mezzanine to me now (loved it at first) except maybe dissolved girl... mezzanine is all good
