karmakramer
Saw it yesterday... completely packed imax, when the film ended the entire audience sat in complete silence (this is mostly families) for about 2+ minutes as the credits rolled. Words won't really describe why this is something you have got to see, but trust me its very IDM Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/55705-hubble-3d/ Share on other sites

Boxing Day
Yeah , but the theater near me only had one-day of screening. The closest Theater currently playing it is about 4 hours from me. It blew my mind, my face literally went numb in certain shots. mistymountainhop
Hell yeah, my girlfriend and I are huge space geeks and have a memberships to our Planetarium/IMAX. Saw this about 2 weeks ago. Easily the best IMAX I've ever seen out of over 50. All the 3D ones are phenomenal for that matter... Yeah, the 3D in this blew away Avatar 3D honestly... mainly cause I enjoyed how long they would stay on wide angle shots... to really give you a chance to look around and get a sense of the environment. The shot of the space shuttle lifting off was absolutely exhilarating! Seeing the smoke clouds burst wide and birds and wildlife flee the swampy fields as the engines roar thunderously felt so much more significant then any hollywood production. Space never seemed so real.
