i always find that with vinyl i can't pick what to listen to because i don't have enough.

i recently sold a bunch of my cds. perhaps half i couldn't part with so i didn't sell them but i really wish i would have just collected vinyl for that whole time...

Yeah, I can't actually remember what it sounds like so it couldn't have been that great. More of a pretty collectors item than anything else....

Here are the majority of my vinyl. I just bought the bottom left (grey) shelf yesterday and had to semi-reorganize my vinyl today. They were all pretty tightly packed. They have a bit more breathing room now. I made the 2 shelves on the right from wood scraps. I'm very proud.

They aren't alphabetical but they are loosely arranged by genre and artist.

The top right is all of my jungle 12's (with a few idm like AFX, Squarepusher, etc). Bottom left is about half metal. The rest is whatever. The bright yellow cardboard package in the top left shelf is the entire Analord collection. One day I'll get a binder.

I'm very proud of my Velvet Underground w/ partially peeled banana sticker and my "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" (Tower Records ST 5093 4th issue, stereo, 1969, 9, LITHO IN USA, striped labels and "See Emily Play" on it!). Other framed records not shown are my autographed copy of Donovan's "Open Road" and my original Brazilian press of Caetano Veloso's "Araça Azul". In the middle of the grey shelf you can almost make out the LP in bubble-wrap. That is my MINT Japanese pressing of "Master of Puppets" (I have 2 domestic copies too!).

My CDs and the other half of my tape collection is on the other side of the room. I still buy tapes, btw.
