I'm not very into speakers, I don't know a lot about it. But these are small, cheap.. Good idea? Any other suggestions??

Edirols have more power and i heard they are pretty good... and are more like "monitors"

the reviews for the behringer 2030s were pretty mediocre. the next model, 2031s, i hear are phenomenal though, for not much more money.

i have a pair of 2030s in a box in my livingroom because i was sent the wrong model... i should be recieving the 2031s in december cause they are on back order.

The KRK monitor looks promising, and they're actually available here in Holland so I don't have to import it. Twice the price though. I'm going to check that one out. Thanks for the help.

That review says it's pretty good, but I don't know how knowledgeable these guys are.

they're only 5 watt, and i've read that reasonably high wattage is important for monitors.. that could be wrong tho.

Yeah it says, "they're only 5 watt, but they don't sound like it". But really man, I am clueless when it comes to this. The amount of cluelessness is easily described by telling you what I'm now using. I'm using the monitors that came with my Sony Hi-Fi set, which I bought when I was 14. That ought to do it.
