music bumps on NPR Radio

over the years i've heard lots of electronic music on NPR, usually the 3-5 second beds they play after a story and usually it was mainstream stuff like Orbital, Underworld, Prodigy i.e. shit like that. Recently i've begun listening during the day at work and have heard everything from Aphex, BOC, DMX Krew, D'arcangelo, even Ceephax! i'm thinking either an intern in the tape library or some musical director likes teh IDM, or they have some obscure licensing deals. although being a nonprofit radio network using just a few seconds of a track they probly get away with paying nothing.
