The Movie "Manic" with Zooey Deschanel,

Has anyone seen this? This, I think, was my first "conscious" introduction to Zooey Deschanel. I developed like a crush on her while watching the movie, and I had to look to find out who she was. They kept focusing close-up on her eyes in that movie; she has really big, beautiful eyes. I'm not too smitten by her anymore, though. Has anyone listened to Him & Her, or whatever Zooey's band is?

I liked the movie, I guess I'm not ashamed to say. The ending was fucked up. It seems poor and low-budget but I liked it.

Also, was Zooey Deschanel dating Joseph Gordon-Levitt, her boyfriend in this movie, in real life?

Does Zooey rhyme with Chloe? English is not my native language. Zooey has a nice face, although in that picture she looks ugly.

Zooey does rhyme with Chloe. I initially started a post called Chloe Sevigny/Zooey Deschanel.

Didn't know her. Saw her in The Happening. Due to a combination of bad acting and bad film, she was unintentionally hilarious. Those bug eyes, think her range consisted of widening them every now and again.

i'll always think of Hitchhiker's Guide when i see her, that was my first exposure to Zoey, and i actually liked the film.

i really hated 500 days of summer. i hated her, her character and everything else about the movie. hitchhiker's guide was terrible also.

i really liked Manic. the jittery, homemade-movie style camera work gave me a headache and seemed pretty unnecessary, but overall i thought it was really good.

she's hot, but her music is god-awful.

I think she's a little high on herself... I don't know, but just the way she acts, and looks, and sings, and fuck she's annoying.
