tec
I'm trying to learn Spanish at the moment and I thought to help make things a bit more interesting I'd start watching a lot more Spanish cinema. Does anyone have any cool suggestions? Yes, from Jodorowsky. The Holy Mountain is his best imo. If you get the chance, watch the commented version, otherwise you will miss thousands of interesting details. I hear you. I used to think like you. Like, if I don't like it immediatly, then I won't bother. But scratching the surface and going deeper on something can be very rewrding. Just like an AE track. Same for movies and art, tons of stuff i didn't like at first but then, after having learned a few things about the artist perspective or some interesting interpretation, I started liking the things. Art doesn't need to be explicitly appealing to be good. Discuss.
