My dad leaves the garage door open all the time

He does it because he wants to save electricity, I think (I guess it uses a lot to open/close the door), and also because he says the door or the motor has broken before, and wants to reduce wear...

But birds certainly have been trapped inside, and I hate it. I was just outside smoking and I saw a couple nearby...one flew inside for a moment, perched on his bumper, and then flew out...

They don't get trapped a lot, it's just that when they do, it's disturbing and upsetting. The last time I was trying to help one out and it kept flying, hard, into various stuff inside the garage, I didn't want it to get hurt...

If you want, post your stories of animals or insects getting trapped inside your house, or some other manmade hell...or just post stories of animal/insect rescue.

sometimes my roomate and I will go on our roof to burn a blunt (very good view up there), and to get up there, we exit a door on the 3rd floor and walk up the incline. On monday we went up there, it was late and dark, and our black cat followed us. We saw it, but forgot about it eventually and we went inside, so it was trapped on the roof until the next day. sorry "stuff". we didn't mean to buddy, you just blended in too well at night.

Once my cat brought back a kind of jumping ferret. It took us half an hour to make it leave the house : he'd crawl up between the walls and pieces of furnitures. It was fucking annoying: every time we thought we had him good, he ran away, madly jumping at us. It was a lot of fun.

A few months later, as I was walking up my street, I saw my cat standing here,just one meter away from the ferret. It was really bizarre, they looked like they were communicating.

I think if there is a bird trapped in your garage you should just open the garage door and leave the garage because if you are in the garage with the bird then the bird will be anxious and that will cause it to fly into objects inside the garage instead of flying out of the garage

sad thing is that I actually captured and killed 5 different insects today (ethanol - biology studies).

haven't helped any animal out in a long time, except for humans and my dawg
