Any fans of obsolete technology here?

Currently watching The Gate to the Mind's Eye as we speak. It's basically Computer Animation circa 1994 with Thomas Dolby making the music. It is part of a series. It's kind of cheesy, but it's interesting none the less.

haha i was just watching some of those mind's eye videos on youtube. in fact, i think the first time i smoked weed i was watching one of them on pbs and thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I bought one back in the day, as it was the only way to watch lone wolf and cub.

We used to trip to the minds eye in high school. Didn't have laserdisc though

I vividly remember cheesy five-frame laserdisc animations of ATP synthase during AP Biology.

edit: I also vividly remember Mac & Me. Thank fuck you got hold of that timeless classic, Spore.

There are about 50 of these at the same thrift store, but no player.

Beyond the Mind's Eye was my favorite movie as a kid. I just got the original (the Mind's Eye) from the library and I'm pretty stoked

(but it's on VHS, not shiny vinyl)
