'A day in the life' by the Beatles

There's this 'remix' of that beatles song somewhere out there and I heard it a while back. I forgot who it was by, but it had the words from the original Beatles version and then this background which was really mellow and somewhat glitchy, I think. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

no idea, but i have the original multitrack recordings for this and various other beatles songs. i must stress for the record that i have never plundered any of these for my own music. ever. honest.

I've only heard it once, when it first came out so I can't quite remember the details.

None of the above..it has practically zero percussion (nothing traditional at least) and is completely ambient soundscapes other than the vocals (original vocals). The more I think about it, the more I think a watmmer did it
