Guest maus
Nice find. I think this thing actually sounds pretty amazing for the price - especially just the raw sounds that the guy is making. Patch this into an existing modular system and I'd imagine you could coax some pretty sick sounds out of it. You still are paying for the enclosure and stuff Edited May 17, 2010 by hautlle Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Hautlle's signature Hide all signatures Albums/EPs Free to DL or stream Newest stuff is on Soundcloud Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/56278-phantastron-vacuum-tube-synth-kit/#findComment-1326918 Share on other sites
Guest hahathhat
i just meant the kit was priced a bit higher than it should be. for that price you should do a paia fatman edit: $100-150 before someone asks. I agree here. While a Fatman is a more "logical" and frugal choice, you know there are going to be people blowing their wads over the fact that it's "Got fucking vacuum tubes man!". As maus said previously, throw this in your modular and you could maybe get some cool sounds out of it. But at the end of the day most people aren't going to drop the money when they can get something more practical for far less.
