the technique is to not throw the ball up all the way, just a little over the mouse and then *click*

I pull the ball almost up while moving the pointer down just a little

negative, I threw it up, and clicked once on it. If I clicked and it didn't change then it doesn't count and you have to start over. Perhaps Yek meant he got it to change twice while it was in the air on 1 throw? I just mean consecutive times of throwing it up and actually hitting it, not 5 changes in 1 throw.

My trick is to right click and then click on the ball while the context menu is up.
