Can we get rid of IDM

Replace it with something better. Preferably one that can't be put in an acronym.

Something like Abstract Techno but you know, good.

Baindance is better but it makes it sound like your describing it to a 9 year old.

Probably Jazzband anyway.

Abstract techno? What makes it more abstract than the other genres? How would you define abstraction in music? Where do you hear the techno outside of the Artificial Intelligence series? IDM does not really make sense either...
